Mediterranean cuisine served in an intimate an characterful, riverside setting.

The Cuisine

The Lighthouse dining menu draws inspiration from all parts of the Mediterranean. From Iberian cured meats to French cheeses, tatziki dips, and merguez sausages. The Lighthouse chefs are hard at work every day, freshly preparing all dishes that go out through their kitchen door.

The Lighthouse tapas concept combines lighter portion cuisine with an emphasis on social dining - not simply dining amongst friends, but sharing dinner with friends.

Combine dishes to create the perfect meal for your event at this riverside pub - be it a light lunch for one, an intimate dinner for two, grazing with friends or a social soirée.

The Lighthouse has a healthy selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Mediterranean ingredients allow the chefs great versatility to not just deliver a variety of dishes, but also create each dish with its own distinct flavours.

In keeping with its nautical theme, The Lighthouse also has a delectable seafood selection.

A historic canal pub once famous as 'Navigation End' and latterly the 'Queens Arms' in honour of King George III's wife. The Lighthouse carries on the centuries' old tradition of quality hospitality and service in Oxford's West End.

The interior of the modern day Lighthouse evokes the building's nautical heritage. Replete with sea-faring oil paintings and nautical features suspended from the ceiling, there is plenty to marvel at.

The Lighthouse has something for all seasons. Where the 'Boiler Room' boasts an open fire to keep guests warm and cosy in the those winter months, in sunnier months, guests can enjoy the sunset on the 'Quarterdeck' which extends over the Oxford canal.

To Drink

The Lighthouse boasts an extensive cocktail list filled with classics and house-concoctions. As with the kitchen, the bar uses premium ingredients and fresh fruits in all its mixology creations.

The Lighthouse offers a selection of wines and bubbly. Rioja with a cured meats board or prosecco with your Sunday afternoon brunch, there's something to suit all tastes and occasions.

Keeping true to its traditions, The Lighthouse continues to provide quality beers - including cask ales sourced from the Wychwood brewery in Witney.
